La Sauvageonne - Puech De Glen 2001
"A huge and aromatic wine, almost a meal in itself; decanting
essential! This wine has great ageing potential of up to 10 years.
Intense and complex with sweet and spicy notes, a of incredible
concentration distinguised by the quality and elegance of its tannins."
Gavin Crisfield - Winemaker, La Sauvageonne.
"A huge wine of great depth and lingering richness. It
flaunts roasted berries, done to a turn, with coriander, grilled
walnuts and a fine texture that is craggy yet graceful."
18 points - Malcolm Gluck 'superplonk' - The Guardian UK.

ripeness with no signs of mildew whatsoever. The parcels of our
